KNIFE SAVES AN INNOCENT LIFE - a true story.
It was recently reported by Ms G of Wiltshire that whilst she was working on her allotment she saw a toad in a distressed state caught in some plastic netting. She quickly took out her 'Hague' locking liner folding knife, opened the blade with a dextrous sweep of her thumb and deftly cut the toad free. The toad hopped away without so much as a backward glance ........... or turning into a handsome prince.
I recently received an email from MS of Hertfordshire following the delivery of his new knife (No. 1503 in the Gallery). After receiving permission, I thought that I would share part of his email with you.
"My knife arrived safely this morning complete with all the trimmings and advice you present with such panache.
I am delighted with it. In " the flesh " it more than measures up to what I had hoped for from the pictures. I love it's appearance but equally, the feel of its solidity and perfect contours in my palm is a delight. Herein, however, is the usual dilemma, whether to keep it in its current pristine state or use it appropriately for the tasks I know it is designed for. I remember reading the comment from another customer about the regular usage he puts his knife to and how well it has perfomed. I realise it is only me that can answer this question."
